Brighton Photo Festival

The Brighton photo festival is an international photo festival curated by Photoworks. The festival aims to exhibit both established photographers and emerging photographers.

The festival is well renown and one of the most visited in the world. 

Past curators have been Photoworks (visual arts agency) and Martin Parr.

The 2012 theme was agents of change: 

This theme aimed to explore photography and the politics of space and was the fifth edition of the festival. The theme explored how space is constructed and controlled. It examined photographers as a tool and a process, as an active force.

The themes I have come across for this UK festival all appear to be quite ambiguous and open to each persons own personal interpretations.
